- Vacuum regularly and spot clean; for hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended; rotating your rugs every 3 months - 6 months will protect against uneven wear from foot traffic and furniture weight
- Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles
- New wool rugs shed as a natural consequence of how they are made; vacuum a new wool rug 1 - 2 times a week for the first few weeks using a low pressure vacuum cleaner without beater bars; vacuum in the direction of the pile, not against it; do not pull loose ends or stray loops, clip them with scissors to remove

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the colors did not meet your expectations.
Color perception can vary depending on lighting conditions, viewing angle, and screen settings, and some patterns may also appear softer or more muted in person than in online photos. That said, we understand your concern if you were expecting a true black and ivory contrast.
Your comments are important to us and will be shared with our product team so we can review how the color is represented online. If you need assistance with a return or would like help finding an alternative with a stronger black and ivory contrast, our customer support team will be happy to help.

Nice neutral wool rug
This rug is a bargain for wool in a 8x10. Its a warm, neutral grey color. It’s great under my dining room table because its fairly low pile and flat so the chairs slide easily. I took off 1 star because the edges arent perfectly straight. It’s 10’ long and just shy of 8’ wide

Looks fabulous!
I love this rug. Looks amazing in guest room. Boggles my mind why people write reviews like ‘wrong rug arrived’. That has nothing to do with the rug! Highly recommend.

The rug I received was not the rug I ordered. I took the rug to my local Home Depot store and received a refund. Disappointed.

Wanted to replace the previous rugs I got. Was hoping these were the same (same name and description and manufacturer). Not the same, but they still look great!

Sheds constantly
I've had the rug for about three months. I liked it when it was first delivered but I've found that it sheds terribly. I vacuum it every other day and I still see "tumbleweeds" of fuzz on my hardwood floor coming from the rug. I was hoping it would eventually stop shedding, but now there is a layer of fuzz forming over the top of the rug. I don't recommend this product.

Response from SAFAVIEH Product ExpertJul 18, 2023
We appreciate your review and would like to clarify that shedding is a natural characteristic of wool rugs, particularly new ones. To minimize excessive shedding, we recommend vacuuming your rug 1-2 times per week in the direction of the pile. Shedding should gradually decrease within a few weeks. For further guidance on dealing with shedding, please refer to our shedding guide available at this link: https://safavieh.com/rug-care-and-cleaning. If you remain unsatisfied with your purchase, we kindly suggest reaching out to The Home Depot Customer Service to arrange for a return and refund of the product. If you'd like to explore alternative options, we recommend exploring our collections of polypropylene or cotton rugs. We value your feedback and appreciate your consideration.

Love this rug for my space. I have a giant dog who loves eating messy bones, so unfortunately my rug is getting stained. It’s not easy to clean, but it is easy to vacuum, which is good. The black threading is more obvious than you would think, as is the mid-tone grey wool.
