Will these bulbs support 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi routers?
Hello - Thank you for the excellent question! Cync Direct Connect Full Color A19 Bulbs require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with WPA2 and AES encryption. Cync products are not compatible with 5 GHz networks, but they can work with most routers that combine both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands into one network. do y have to use Wi-Fi or can y use without internet like a light bulb????
Hello Joseph, thank you for reaching out to us with this great question! Yes, Cync bulbs will function as a traditional light bulb. However, if our Wi-Fi compatible lights are not connected via the internet in the Cync Application you will lose the smart function capabilities. If you are interested in keeping the smart functionality without the Wi-Fi requirement we suggest looking into our Bluetooth compatible bulbs. -Cync Support
Is "black light" spectrum an option with this bulb?
