Product Overview

The Type LB Conduit Body is used for a change of direction of the conduit run with the back hub usually exiting through a wall. It is a rectangular shaped conduit body with a removable cover and a foam gasket that is provided. It will have one entrance hub at one end and one hub at the opposite end in the back (floor).

I use it outside with no problem at all. Just use the PVC cement called for, and it will work very well.

What size concrete drill bit to use for the 1-1/4 in. Type LB conduit ?

Depends on the wall, just don't use a bit too large like the "Hillary" bit since that has ample space for more than 3 screws in it.

This is listed as not suitable for outdoor use, which model would allow for an outdoor connection?

The conduit does its job by protecting the wiring and...
The conduit does its job by protecting the wiring and giving a neat appearance to the project. I would like for the inside edges to be more smooth as it damage the wiring on occasions while passing thought with the sharp edges that could cut the protecting cover.
