Questions & Answers

1Question
caret
Q:What does L-type mean? Are all narrow crown (1/4 inch) staples L-type?
by|Jun 19, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Not all narrow staples are considered "L" style. These are Electro-galvanized, there are also Stainless which is "SX". The narrow crown is the smallest type of crown. It is easy to hide in applications after joining. It covers a smaller area then medium and wide crown staples. Often used for finish and trim and other delicate jobs, but it is also great for wood and panel work.

Don't depend on the plastic box to stay closed. Staples are fine but the container is junk - it comes with a "belt clip", the lid popped open and the contents dumped everywhere.
