Product Details

Rebar is made from unfinished tempered steel for strength and durability. The rebar can be used to increase the tensile strength of concrete or mortar. Rebar's surface is patterned to form a better bond with the concrete. When added to concrete, the rebar adds strength and flexibility, which concrete alone does not have.

                Q:Can we really believe that 68 out of 73 people would write in to rate your rebar as 4 or 5 star? This is rebar, for god's sake. Isn't Home Depot embarrassed that people might think these reviews are bogus?

                  A:  While this may only be rebar - a simple piece of metal - it does work. I have used Home Depot's rebar a number of times for different projects. It may rust a little after laying outside for a while but it doesn't flake, or deform or rust through if used in cement. So yes, I gave it a real 5 star review :)

                    A:  I think so though I have not tried to fit this rebar inside a 1/2 inch PVC pipe. At the Home Depot website as well as just researching the dimensions of 1/2 in PVC pipe you can check the ID ( inside diameter). If the ID is 1/2" or greater then the rebar should fit inside.

                    A:  Yes. I can guarantee you that the inside of a 1/2" pvc pipe is 1/2." The rebar is 1/2"od. Sure, it will go in there. Just pound it with a hammer. P.S. That usually works on most DIY homeowner problems. If it doesn't, get a bigger hammer.
