I replaced my OSB & Pine trim Shed doors with PVC. I use 2X4's inside for a frame, the sheet for the door panel & 1X3 PVC for the molding. It was easy to cut and looks FANTASTIC !PVC also means VERY Low or NO maintenance !!!

We have been making signs with Veranda PVC for several years. Density and consistency of material thickness is very good.
Unfortunately, the ( smooth side ) surface quality varies from batch to batch. There are often repeating voids, extrusion lines and small defects in the sheets. We use a plastic primer specifically designed for PVC material so paint adhesion ( when properly prepared ) is excellent.
We do not use the wood grain pattern side very often. We wish that the 4 x 8 sheets were available with both sides smooth.
Our local Home Depot also stocks the Veranda PVC sheets in 3/4" and 1/4" thickness which is convenient. Overall, a quality product at a great price point.

This cellular PVC sheet can be cut and drilled like wood but it doesn't chip or splinter. The sheet is fairly stiff but not as much as 1/2" plywood. It can be glued with pvc cement to create shapes and installed with trim head wood screws and sub floor glue to substrates. Great product for applications that need to be weatherproof.
