Crooked, cheap, garbage
I am so disappointed that I started these with adhesive and can no longer turn back. See the attached photo. Every piece is like this. The manufacturer and Home Depot should both be ashamed for selling this garbage

Yes this is expensive. I do believe it’s worth it for certain situations but unrealistic for every closet in a house. I needed to cover 340SF and bought 18 boxes totaling 370SF to account for breakage and such. It ended up being exactly the right amount. They were delivered I believe 3 days later on a pallet. Cost around 800 total with tax and delivery. It smells really good and it really is gorgeous. Yes there will be a handful of panels you can’t use.

We trimmed out our closet with the cedar panels. My wife and I love the look and scent it added to our bedroom. One general note, the panels can have some imperfections as it’s real wood and not all the tongues and grooves were created equal. I had to trim down and adapt some panels in order to link them together properly.

This worked perfectly for our bathroom project. We live in a very wet environment and have had no mold or water issues, and it looks and smells great!

I had this delivered towards the end of my project...
I had this delivered towards the end of my project and it was a much better quality than the brand I was using and it didn't have four or five pieces that were as short as 6 in long they were all full pieces way better color just better quality!

THE PRODUCT IS VERY THIN. IT'S WAS VERY EXPENSIVE TO COVER AND ENTIRE CLOSET. EACH BOX COVERS I BELIEVE 14.5 SQUARE FEET PER BOX. THE PRODUCT WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, CUT AND TAC UP. I DID HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT WHEN I BOUGHT THE FOUR (4) BOXES FROM HOME DEPOT (DANBURY, CT). SOMEONE MUST OF BOUGHT THE PRODUCT BEFORE I DID AND DIDNT LIKE IT. THEY RETURNED IT THE STORE . WHEN THEY RETURNED IT, IT HAD PLANKS PRE-CUT (DIFFERENT SIZES) IN SOME OF THE WOOD PLANKS. I DONT THINK BELIEVE IT CAME FROM THE MANUFACTURE THAT WAY. HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEE I BELIEVE DID NOT CHECK THE BOX ENTIRELY WHEN THE PRIOR CUSTOMER RETURNED THE PRODUCT. HOME DEPOT PUT THE PRODUCT RIGHT BACK ON THE SHELF (POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE RETURN). HOWEVER, I PUT THE PRODUCT UP, IT LOOKS GOOD, ITS IN A SUMMER CABIN. WE WERE TRYING TO DO SOMETHING CREATIVE FOR THE CABIN CLOSET WHILE WE STAYED INDOORS SO WE DIDNT CATCH THE VIRUS. This is really nice cedar. It is aromatic, and the wood has nice grain! I took 2 closets down to the studs. Then put up 1/2 inch plywood for the backs and sides. Then used the nail gun to put up the cedar siding. The closets and rooms that the closets are in smell great! There was cedar that was less expensive, that came from China, but the quality was not good, and it was not aromatic. I would never hang that in a closet. I also used ClosetMaid parts to assemble really nice closets.The cedar planking is in the hardware section with the mouldings not in the closet section. So you might have to look around for it, but it is worth it!

Easy to install, cut, looks great and definitely aromatic. Not all pieces are useable as a complete piece due to bow, split, other. The end to end connection must be carefully fitted and is accomplished by precise length when cutting. It was a fun project and the results are great.
