What are the two thermostat settings.?

Asked by Anna February 13, 2021

Answers

There are 3 heater settings which use 600/900/1500 watts and an adjustable Thermostat. Turn them both to the right as far as they go and watch your electric meter spin. The heater works very well although very expensive to run in the Northeast.

Does this work if the electricity goes out?

It will continue to heat for a while after the electricity goes out since the oil inside has been heated.

How do you put oil in it and what kind of oil,?

Asked by Lori January 17, 2021

You don't. It comes full of oil and permanently sealed. The oil is just used to STORE the heat, it's not burned to create heat; that comes from electric resistance inside the unit.

Basic electic radiator, very hot to touch even on low
I have a Kenwood radiator that is very similar, but the electronic controls make it impossble to use with a smart plug. The Kenwood is warm to touch on low so I can use it in my toddlers room. This Pelonis has basic controls so its good for smart plugs but even on low it gets VERY hot to touch so you need to use care

I like this heater, it isn't a fan forced heat that dries out the room. It keeps the room comfortably warm. No noise and it is easy to set and use. Good length of cord and easy to move around on the casters. Overall a good little heater. I would definitely suggest it to anyone needing a space heater.

Well..... it looks good
My heater is currently being repaired and I live in a wooden home that stays cold!! This device was not worth the time I spent looking online at reviews. I took it out of the box, assembled, and plugged it in, in hopes that I would finally feel some warmth..... I didn’t, it sucked. I’m not sure if it was defective or it just sucks.... either way, the heat radiates when you get really close but I slept with this heater in the room, door closed, and about 5 blankets on top of me... woke up and was still pretty chilly in the room... any-who, I’m returning it... I’m not sure where all of the good reviews come from .....

I have had one of these heaters before and they are a wonderful product and very safe, especially for overnight use. I would highly recommend this heater to anyone looking to buy a space heater who doesn't have a lot of money to spend on one. You will not be disappointed.
