Good one coat coverage, extremely low odor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been working to put in a kitchen/bar in a family room. Needed to do some drywall, electrical and plumbing. Before painting I was able to use the Speedhide interior latex primer/sealer prior to applying the finish paint coat. The primer goes on very smoothly and even on the tape joints the product covered well. Dry time was fast and the odor in a closed room was very minimal. Compared to other brands I have used it seemed like the coverage per gallon was better but honestly it is hard to compare accurately. I was most concerned about the effectiveness of a single coat and this one did the trick. You can see the result, after the final paint coat was excellent. Another quality PPG product that will not disappoint you. As with most latex products, clean-up was a breeze. Key features that impressed me were the single coat coverage even over the taped joints and the exceptionally low odor and fast drying time. I also appreciate how well the container is designed. The lid is easy to replace, and I am confident that the remaining product will store well for use on my next project. .

Great quality all-purpose paint

Dries super fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the SPEEDHIDE MaxPrime Primer/Sealer in Flat White for a hallway I was redoing and I am very happy with the results. One of the first things I notice was the smell. I am happy to report it does not have astrong smell like other similar products do. Another great thing was how fast it dries. It was ready for the second coat in less than an hour. The dring part is definitely made it foe me because I was able to finish my whole project before my kids were even home from school. Super happy with the quality and finish.

Paint magic!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this white interior primer to repaint my bathroom and dining room walls.
My expectations of this white primer covering the walls and stains were enhanced. I have a English mastiff (drool) after cleaning the walls this paint hid all stains. There was no noticeable odor, it was so easy to work with, and it did dry fast. I recommend a second coat for certain conditions that require it.
TheSPEEDHIDE max white primer made painting easy for me as in workability of the primer. This made painting my walls a breeze. It increased my efficiency as opposed to my experience working with other primers.
The SPEEDHIDE Max Primer would be excellent choice for homeowners or commercial painters especially needing a primer to cover stains/imperfections.
* I would have liked to know about this product sooner. As I mentioned I used other primers that were too thick, didn’t dry fast at all and did not hold up.
* I rated SPEEDHIDE Max primer with 5 stars due to the above reasons mentioned and it was so easy to work with.
I will add photos when I can to show you my results. My window in my dining room became smashed due to high winds and cheap windows. I’m decided to replace “all” these cheap windows that were new when I bought the house. Unfortunately, they were very cheap with the end result (window smashed). Be patient and I’ll provide the finished photos .

Great coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a house full of kids so stains and hand prints on the wall happen a lot. So when looking for a paint we need something that will cover very well and also which can clean easy. This paint does it all. We only had to use 1 good coat for it to cover the walls. Very low odor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the primer on a redo project that was damaged by water. We needed a primer that would cover the old material and new materials evenly. We also needed it to build a texture that would hide the damaged areas well. The sipped Hyde was excellent, but not sure that even PPG knew just how well.

Paint office

Not that good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to primer some Mdf trim and it didn’t sand that well. It did not cover the stain that was on it. It had a very very strong ammonia smell too. It was very very ghostly when it came to hinding.
