The boards looked like they were in a fight at the sawmill. Whoever picked them out needs to get an eye exam. After waiting for a week then I got them home and thought I could still use them, I went to a wood shop and spent the money on decent wood for my bookcase.
I used it to make a shelf! I needed something for above my TV, but everything to buy was expensive! I decided to make my own! It is light weight but sturdy and it stained perfectly! I loved it so much I bought a second to make bathroom shelves!
Great wood to learn on. After watching Paul Sellers videos I got the courage to make 3 workbenchs, a chisel box and now a keyboard stand. No nails were used in building the stand. I would have never tried to build this if a coworker didn’t ask me to make him a stand so that he could stand while working. The dovetails aren’t perfect but in time I’ll get much better.
