Hi Ronnie, The get larger quantity details, it would be best to contact your Home Depot store as pallet/bulk sizing varies, as does pricing.
Marie, This strip is often used to give a level surface for attaching wallboard, paneling, etc.
Too many variables to answer this question accurately (moisture levels, sun exposure, etc.) but painting/staining your boards will extend the life of the boards. Would recommend you paint/stain all sides. If you treat only the exposed side(s) but have moisture buildup underneath or rain/sun on the top, etc. the boards will degrade more quickly in those spots.
SAM, The boards are produced “in house” at one of our manufacturing suppliers, from their stock of 2x4 boards. They obtain their 2x4 from several different mills. Some of those mills are sustainably-sourced, while some are not. There is a possibility that the boards come from a sustainably-sourced mill, but no way to guarantee that either.
Hi Fireman, unfortunately we do not offer that size furring strip board on Homedepot.com. We apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
They could be used for that, they would need to be cut to the length you need.
These are priced per board or piece. not by the foot.
We do not recommend using these furring strip boards for metal roofing.
