These are about the best 1 x 4's you are going to get at a big box store...They are true S4S ( surfaced 4 sides) which means they are already square and ready to use...Be sure to go through the pile and get the straightest ones, some are MUCH better than others...These are great for framing sofa tables, entry tables, etc..

Good quality, flat, dry and square. I made some recessed panel cabinet doors with this material. It smoothed out well and accepted paint well. It finished out nicely.

We are using these boards to replace the baseboards in our house — bevel the top edge, stain and poly. The wood is a new Zealand radiata pine, straight, very high quality, almost no knots. It takes stain well and evenly after a preconditioner, cuts well, very superior results.

I used these for window trim in a room addition. They are nice and straight and easy to install. Paint nicely with very little pre-sanding.

Needed a couple of of boards for finishing up a crown molding job. These fit the bill perfectly, as it was an easy job to miter the edges using my table saw anders then measure length, Miter inside and outside corners, and then install.

This board was used to replace a rotten board on a window frame. Home Depot cut it to order. We filled around the window with aerosol foam, put on the new board, painted, and the window looks good.
