New Front Porch
We have a front porch that my wife wanted to update, I was concerned with the price and look of the project but did wind up doing it and am I glad I did. These boards took stain very well, applied with a deck applicator. The were straight easy to cut and fit together well. They are priced right and look great when installed. We liked it so much that we are going to continue the run along the ceiling and really update the front entry to our house. Easy to work with, boards re straight, takes stain great and fit together well.

Just Plain Bored
Since the Covid -19 shut downs put us all out of work, I decided to do some creative projects with my wood stash. Besides throwing it all away like the wife keeps suggesting.
I used a bunch of shiplap siding from an old shed that was deconstructed to build her some nice planter boxes. Unfortunately parts of the old untreated lumber had wet rotted and I was just short of a complete project.
These boards were a very close match to the original shape and size. With a little white paint they are nicely matched from the street view.

Used this for a ceiling in my study that we are finally refinishing, I tried to drywall it but it was so out of square that I layed in this shiplap instead - It looks great! A very easy and fun project. Cut some holes for flush mount 4" dimmable LEDs.

Really like the look
We have done our cabin and our basement entry and bathroom in the ship lap boards.. We really like the look. You do have to really check the boards before buying to avoid excessive knots, splitting, etc and they will warp very easily so keep them stacked in a pile on the floor. They cover quickly and really make the room warm and rustic. We faced nailed with a compressor and finish nails. Can also be nailed on the tongue. We put several coats of poly on top for a shiny look.
