About This Product

The Makita 3/4 in. 2-Speed Hammer Drill has variable-speed operation to help with starting holes in concrete and steel. Start with low gear for speeds up to 900 RPM and 18,000 BPM. Then switch to high to take advantage of up to 2,300 RPM and 46,000 BPM. The 3/4 in. keyed chuck is powered by a 6-Amp motor and ball bearings translate to years of dependable use. This hammer drill also has adjustable side handles and a depth gauge for drop-in anchors. It comes with a storage case.

You can drill into the ceramic tiles using the hammer action function, but you would be better off if you used an actual hammer to break down the tiles.           Sir, all that I'm saying is that you made a mistake in your specifications (details) on this Makita Hammer Drill HP2010N, the chuck is not 3/4" it's 1/2". You have the number correct in your product overview where it says: Includes: Drill chuck (763047-2) this number is correct for 1/2" chuck, I know, because I bought the Makita hp2010n from Amazon thinking it was 3/4", I received it yesterday 11/27 and returned it the same day.
