Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gutter Brush The 11 inch Gutter Guard Brush works very well, cleaning gutter guards and the bottom of gutters. The brush has many uses cleaning debris off valley of roof, cobwebs, patio furniture etc. Use your own extension pole to the height you will be needing. You can use either side of brush or the end for your cleaning application. For more information visit TheGutterguardBrush.com Happy Cleaning!

It easily brushes away leaves and pine needles off the Gutter Guard in the three small areas on the north facing valleys of my roof. The rest of the leaves are blown away by the wind. The prevailing winds are from the south during bad weather so not all the leaves blow off the gutter guards. Last winter was the rainiest winter ever recorded in the Seattle area. The Gutter Guards worked wonderfully even during the most intense downpours. I have a very high and difficult to reach roofline for most of my house. And, I am surrounded by trees. Cleaning gutters is an expensive job to hire out and doing it myself is very difficult. I installed Gutter Guards last year so I would never have to stand on a two story ladder again to clean the gutters. It only takes 5 minutes to completely remove all the offending leaves with the Gutter Guard brush after a storm. I can't recommend enough both the brush and Gutter Guard itself.

The angle of the brush after it is attached to pole is awkward and the brush needs to be a few inches longer to reach the full width of the gutter. I think it would work better if the threaded whole were not dead on center.

It's also constructed well and is not going to fall apart after a couple heavy duty uses. It screws right onto any standard extension pole. I've only been able to do my lowest level so far, which was just done with the rest a few months back. But I got to test it out and it made quick work of what little greenery there was up there. I have a very tall tree line behind my home and will need it again in the fall. With the heat this summer leading to fire conditions, it's definitely one of those tasks I'd feel safer keeping up on. Especially when you have neighbors that set off fireworks that land on your roof.

This gutter guard is very rugged and strong, yet lightweight, and a great value for a modest price. The bristles are stiff, and should hold up well. I suspect the brisles might funcion a bit better if they were slightly flexible. Since they are so stiff, they can tend to get hung up and caught in the holes of the gutter guard. When the bristle tips get slightly caught in the gutter guard mesh holes, it might help if the bristles were more flexible. Then the bristles would bend away, and the brush would procede to move across the gutter guard with more ease. Nevertheless, it is a useful product for brushing leaves away from gutter guards, and I would give it a 4 on a scale of 5..

From the ground, using an extension pole, I was able to clean off the screens on top of my gutters which were covered with tons of needles. I also used it to brush debris off the roof and to scrub my dirty gutters. It is still a messy job that I will never look forward to, but at least I won't hurt my self using a ladder to do this treacherous job. This product is very easy to use and well made. I am a 60 year old woman whose husband no longer wants to go on the roof and do this job so it is great for me!
