Glue is not issue
I have bought and used over 50 of different sizes of this glass from HD that I use on my commercial projects. It is the cheapest way to get small pieces of glass. Picture frames, cabinet doors, boxes, etc it is good material. The trick with the glue is to peel up one end and 'slowly' pull it up. The glue may break off but you just start over peeling an end up. It comes off clean with no residue. If anyone has ever got a new credit card in the mail it is stuck to the letter with the same stuff. It just peels off. Take a little time to peel the glue up and you will save money on chemicals to try and get it off. FYI the glue is very solvent resistant!
