I wouldn't recommend it due the space between the charcoal plate and bottom of the grill. It could damage the legs.
The price is $29.97. hope this helps
It looks close to 14” talk with the legs folded and the lid secured in place.
Right now the entire unit is on sale in stores. They don't currently sell replacement parts for this unit
I'm sure you could locate a supply house which could get you the part you need, which, including shipping would cost more than just buying a new grill. Just for fun one time, I priced out the cost for ALL the replacement parts for an old $300 gas grill I had. The total to buy all the parts was about $1300. The four parts I need most out of the hundreds available were about $190, so I just scrapped that grill and bought a new one.
Two side vents - coal grill laying on bottom with almost no space underneath.
Stands flip up from underneath, which you probably discovered by now.
I don't know if your food was unsafe or not; I did use pre-treated charcoal and did not feel any impact on my health. I am glad you asked the question because I did not read that in the instructions, in future I will not use the pre-treated charcoal.
Yes- but you won't have room for much else; I would be worried about the weight. It may be a big problem unless you use a smaller size chicken to roast..
