Pressure-Treated Western Woods Lumber is ideal for a variety of applications, including decks, landscaping, stair support, walkways and other outdoor projects where lumber is exposed to the elements. Every piece meets the highest grading standards for strength and appearance. This lumber is pressure treated in order to protect it from termites, fungal decay and rot. When used properly, it is both safe and environmentally friendly.

Answer This Question

A:  When I cut the ends of pressure treated lumber, I treat them with copper napthanate (termite preventative) and then paint them. I use them largely in fencing.

    A:  The stain is a waterbased stain. This item is pressure treated and incised, you do not need to strip it prior to painting or staining.
