These things have nails and staples all through them. I destroyed a planner and a table saw blade cutting 3 of them. The store could care less. It wouldn’t be bad if they would put nails in one place but they are over. Half are broke off and you can see till you hit them. Stay away if you plan on cutting.

We purchased the products for use in the fabrication of a sliding mono-panel barn door with a high fixed-glass panel for light sharing.
The private residence commission required a larger scale than we commonly fabricate. This piece is 96" high by 48" wide. The sheer scale demanded joint connections of the head, sill and jambs to be joined using pre-drilled and counter sunk 8" lags at each connection, including the mid-span brace. Form there the body in-fill panels are set in a rigid solid wood frame.
We specifically chose this product due to it's consistency and quality, as well as its light-weight characteristics. The final finish included sanding, edging and priming applications which afforded a final "Bright White" paint finish to compliment the existing design goals of the residence.
