2 in. x 6 in. x 8 ft. Con Common Redwood Board

Used this lumber to build a picnic table. Like usual at HD, I had to sort through the pile to get the best lumber for the top and seating. There were a lot of twisted and knotty boards to sort through, but you pay a little extra for this ability to pick your lumber. Overall I wish they had fewer knots, and had more heartwood but they are acceptable for the price.

I had my handyman create a raised garden bed using the Mendocino wood planks & cement block corners specific for raised beds. What a great creation! Love the look and functionality! Will last for a real long time yet feasible to move if necessary. Great job!

Poor quality -- a lot of knots and whitewood. Had to select from a lot of bad boards. Required Multiple visits over a week to make sure there is sufficient good quality wood. In my instance, after I spent ~hour or more selecting the wood and went to the counter, the lady at the counter billed 3x each post. When they double checked it was mis-labeled. A 8ft post was labeled as 16ft and priced 3x the cost of a 8ft. They refused to override the price and asked me to go look for rightly labeled wood. Had to go over the lot for another hour to complete the purchase of my wood.

All junk could not even find decent handrail post.

It works great for my raised garden .

Good product for use and longevity.

Did not split when driving a deck screw in.
