This is associated with a Midwest temporary meter socket 100 amp. Does it actually fit properly to the Midwest temporary meter socket? Midwest requires a B12 to fit a 1 1/4” conduit connection

What is the length for each side on the piece? Thanks

Specifications show this hub is 5.25x5.25 in. Answers to questions indicate the screw spacing is 2-5/8 inch centers. The photo shows the part is closer to 3.25x3.25 in. I question whether the part is actually 5.25x5.25.

      Answer This Question

The part is installed at the jobs I can't confirm actual spacing but I believe it will not fit a Siemens, Milbank or Murray meter socket or panel, slightly different spacing

The answer is 3.25x 3.25 without a doubt.

I can confirm that this hub will not work with Siemens meter socket... I made that mistake... even though in the packaging it says its universal fit the screw holes don't align properly

What type of fitting do I use to connect to PVC? Do I need to use sealant or Teflon tape if installed outdoors?
            ByNov 21, 2020
            1 Answer |
            Answer This Question

The 1-1/4 inch threaded fitting on this hub is the same size for metal conduit as it is for PVC pipe fittings, so you can use a standard PVC threaded adapter. While the threads themselves will create a seal, it's generally recommended to use Teflon tape on PVC threads for extra security against leaks. This will ensure a watertight connection.

            By|Feb 20, 2025

Can I use a PVC threaded adapter in this hub? Or do I need to install a rigid nipple then transition with the PVC threaded adapter?

            Answer This Question

Thank you for your question. The TC150P Hub is threaded to accept male adapters. Check with your local authority having jurisdiction for specific allowable applications if needed.

              Midwest B10 hub
If you need a 1” hub for your Midwest RV receptacle, this is it. Sure, it says GE, but the hub has Midwest B10 cast into it. And, it fits perfectly. Apparently, GE bought Midwest a few years ago.
