Can these be countersinked?
Thank you for contacting us. The small head diameter of the standard Fin/ Trim will bury into wood cleanly. The reverse thread or RT version bores a slightly larger hole to prevent mushrooming with composite materials.

What size torque bit is required
Thank you for contacting us. The #8 trim screws require a T-10 Torx bit to install. There is one 1" bit included in each carton. Hope this helps.
How are you supposed to remove these if a board needs to be replaced? Trying to unscrew them just makes them dig deeper!

Since it’s an RT screw with the reverse thread under the head, you should be able to get the screw to start backing out if you slowly try to start the screw clockwise (install direction) while putting some weight on the board near the screw.
