This router bit has two flutes, which act as the cutting blades.
This router bit does not use a guide bearing. It uses the pilot bearing at the tip of the bit.
If the base plate on the router is smaller the the cutting dia. of the bit it will not work. It would destroy the base plate. Maybe the base plate could be removed. Good luck. Thomas
Cut the package open with a utility knife.
Lol Diablo just said "you need to remove plastic covering." I also want to know how to open it. With my last bit, I had to destroy the black plastic holder.
I used my hamster who chewed it out.
Hi Dallasdoofus, Thank you for your question. You will need to remove the plastic cover in order to remove the bit. Hope this helps.
With scissors, cut the end and only one side of the seam, then open it like a clam shell. Doing it this way you can reuse the packaging for storing the bit.
