Yes, but it is not a smooth surface - it is 3 dimensional - so it may be difficult to clean.
yes
This item should not go around a fireplace.
There are no corners for this piece. The only option is to cut the interlocking pieces down to be able to interlock the pieces at right angles.
For wet locations, even in a bathroom without a shower, it's better to install any tile over tile backerboard. This means ripping out the existing drywall to do so. However, if you know water will never be an issue in this area, you can opt for one choice....installing the tiles over drywall using SimpleMat. This tile setting mat is sold at your local Home Depot's tile aisle and works well for holding up tile over vertical surfaces. Use it, and you won't have any worries with installing it over drywall. this product does not need to be grouted.
This is a grout less tile and I would say no due to water getting between the tiles and causing mold and trapping soap and dirt.
Not likely - it has a jagged surface - beautiful, but not easy to clean.
Hi Emily, Almost all natural stone tiles we sell, including this one, is suitable for shower walls. Just make sure it is installed firmly over a waterproofed area, and that after grouting, the tiles and grout are properly sealed. Joseph
