Hi Dhs, thank you for your inquiry. This chandelier fixture weighs 24 pounds.
Of course it is already installed, however in the details section it says it weighs 24 pounds.
Can you reverse the shades to face down? Thank you
I’m pretty sure that you cannot. It does not seem to be designed that way.
If it includes 6' of chain, I assume the hanging length is adjustable? I would like this quite close to the ceiling, so can I just use a few inches of chain and cut the power wires to suit my installation?
It’s been a while since we installed this fixture and it is in our home in FL, but the ceilings there are low and it’s over a table, much less than 6 feet, so it must be adjustable.
Yes, you can take out links or hang it from any of the of chain links.
Yes.
Can the chain be cut shorter and how difficult is it to do?
Hi SM, yes chain can be shorten, it should be a simple process of just removing chain links using a pair of pliers.
Can this be hung on a slanted ceiling?
Yes, mine is hung on a slanted ceiling and works fine.
Yes. We installed it on a vaulted ceiling. The cap is affixed on an angle then the chain hangs straight down.
