Hi, thank you for your question. The Zurn ZERK-CPM is powered by four (4) C-size batteries, and the batteries are included with the retrofit kit. The kit also includes the installation wrench and hex wrench for accessing the battery compartment.
Is this work with any brand of manual flash valves?

What is the gpf for this model?
The gpf is determined by the diaphragm in the flushometer, not by the Zurn EZ Flush. This will work on all 4.5, 3.5, 1.6, 1.28, 1.0, and 0.8 gpf Sloan and Zurn flushometers.
will this install right where the manual handle goes
Yes you remove the original handle with a wrench. Then the auto flush comes with the proper washer and a special wrench to install. Very very simple. Don’t forget to turn of the water supply first.
Yes, but keep the manual handle on site in case the EZ Flush fails, which is rare.
