Hello Phil, these are made in China.
It is possible to use a hammer, but it is not recommended to do. Collated nails are designed to use in a nail gun.
Grip-Rite GRF182 2 in. x 18-Gauge Electrogalvanized Brad Nails are ideal for most interior finishing applications. We cannot recommend outdoor use.
This nail is electrogalvanized and not for outdoor use. You will want a hot dipped galvanized or stainless for outdoor use.
This brad nail is not meant for outdoor use. Indoor use only for this one.
I do not see why not. I do suggest firing into some scrap if possible to dial in depth. I ran mine (air compressed) at 120 psi and had good penetration through hardwood without needing to countersink afterwards. I only had one go partly in when I hit a nail or screw, but it was easy to extract and the hole left was easy to fill.
It might you'll have to read the box, they said that they would work in a bostitch, and the head was to small for the track, it said on the box that it was made for my gun, but it wasn't. Sorry this is all I can refer.
Hi Joe, These finish brad nails will work with most 18 gauge brad finish nailer. Thank you for your question.
