I need a shelf at least 10" high and 24" wide. Is that possible with this cabinet?
Dimension of shelf: 31.49 in. W x 13.8 in. D x 7.5 in. H. If you left out the middle shelf it would work.
Can the legs be taken off and just have pads put on the bottom?
It is possible with the right tool to saw off the bottom of the legs to shorten the table.
If this sits in a corner of a room, what is the distance from the corner of the wall to the front edge of cabinet. I need to know how far this cabinet extends into room.

Is back panel solid wood or manufactured wood?
The back panel is also solid wood, it is however a plywood. Real plywood is made from strips of solid wood glued together, different from mdf/particle board. It is the same wood species as the rest of the piece and you can sand and stain it just the same.

What is the clearance under the stand to the floor, ie 2"or 3" or?
2.75 inches from the floor to the drawer. Height between shelves is 7.5 inches.
