Questions & Answers
Does this package come with batteries?
Yes, the DCF682N1A will include (1) battery.
How long does it take for the initial charge
Within an hour. Probably shorter.
It came charged but after 30 minutes it was pretty well charged
3 to 4 hours
it was quick
We recommend the first initial charge be at least 8-12 hours.
Does this have torque control?
You're in charge of Torque control. The more you turn your wrist, the higher the Torque. After a few minutes of use, you master it.
no!
No
Its kind of crazy but youre the torque control. The more abrupt you turn your wrist the harder it turns.
I would say yes if slightly turn your wrist to the left or right it will turn slowly with less torque once the more you turn your wrist the more torque you get one the it stops you can still use your wrist to apply more torque to the screw.
Does this have variable positions?
Completely variable in terms of Torque. But it doesn't fold or anything like that, if that's what you mean.
No
Unfortunately no
no
Not sure what you mean by variable positions. It does not fold to a 45 degree position if that is what your asking, it is variable speed and work when you turn your hand position to the left or right no matter which way the screw driver is oriented. Great for areas where you don't want to carry a battery drill around..
