Questions & Answers
i know these doors can be reversed but can they also open in or out. I am looking to mount the door on the right and open into the shower.
The Unidoor model series (including the Unidoor Plus) comes with adjustable hinges. The hinges will come pre-set from the factory for outward swing, which is the recommended use, but they can be adjusted to allow for inward swing or for both inward and outward swing. Instructions for adjusting the hinges will be provided in the installation manual. If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413. We can also be reached by sending an email to support@dreamline.com. Our hours of operation are 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine.
My hinge side wall is slightly out of plumb. Can I use spacers to bring out the bottom hinge about 1/8" or 3/16"? Suggestions?
Thank you for reaching out to DreamLine. The box containing the hinges will come with a set of PVC spacers that are designed to help you level the door in the event that your door side wall is very slightly out-of-plumb. You may use these spacers to adjust the door by 1/8" to 3/16" and there will be a section in the manual that covers the use of these spacers for that purpose.
