I just entered my email and they notified me when it was back in stock. It didn't take that long. I guess they sell fast so you have to get one quickly once it's back in stock.
I used the Glacier Bay adaptor to replace rfe battery operated ekectruc eye on oyr kitchen faucet! I don't know if another (other than Glacier Bay faucet adapter is available) I would assume one is but the specs would have to be close match as not to damage the electronics in the faucet!
Thank you. This will work with that unit.
Thank you. This will work with that model.
I had the same issue and ended up sticking with the battery pack
I bought and returned about 3 of them that I couldn't get to work. Last one, I got my multi-tester out and found the adapter worked, but the problem is the connectors don't align properly so they don't make contact. One solution (after testing adapter with a multi-tester to make sure it is working) is to just cut the connector plugs off and splice the wires directly with small wire nuts. I ended up deciding to stick with using the batteries, just changed for the first time after about 2 years. Also, note that if you use the AC adapter and not batteries, and the power goes out (seldom for me), the faucet won't work.
Don’t plug it into the same outlet as the garbage disposal. It’s on a switch. I made that mistake. Was frustrated until I thought about why it wasn’t working.
I thought I had same problem - but I was plugging it into the switched outlet (for the disposal) - once I moved it to the other outlet it worked!
Same with me
make sure you have it plugged into the unswitched outlet - i had mine in the switched outlet for the disposal and did not work - when i moved it then it worked. also you need to plug the cord into the faucet valve unit before plugging in the adapter to electricity per the instructions that came with the faucet.
Thank you. We recommend that you only use products made for the Glacier Bay models.
I have my power supply in my hand, I haven't plugged it in yet, I have to pull d-washer out to get to a plug. It says INPUT 100-240 V~ 50/60Hz 0.5 A OUTPUT 6.0 V 1.0 A
The one I have has an output of 6.0 volts at 1.0 Amps - see pic for model#. It replaces 4 AA (1.5v batteries), which certainly don't put out 1 amp, so that's the power supply max
I installed this at our beach place and do not know those details but guessing the info is in the box, I use it as the regular power source and saved the battery pack for use when there is a power outage after a storm, I will check the next time I am there. And update you.
The battery box which is provided with the faucet holds 4 AA batteries at 1.5 volts each that makes 6 volts so I will go out on a limb and say the adapter is 6 volts, and I wouls say that is most likely its maximum voltage output.
I haven’t had to replace them yet ! That’s a long time . I bought a transformer I’m going to use it until I need it . That’s about two years .
Like everything that uses batteries it depends on how much its' being used, only had to change by batteries so far once n three yrs
I don't know I purchased the AC adapter immediately. I kept the battery box with the batteries inside to use in case of power failure they lasted 2 years so far just setting under the sink. However if you count on the batteries make sure you have spares. If they go out the faucet will not work until you replace them. Which could mean a hasty trip to the store for more. The adapter is cheap and reliable.
I am guessing battery life would be like a smoke detector. I installed an ac socket under the sink and will run the faucet off of A.C. this is a beach unit. I plan to use the battery powered during storms and power failures. I did run it on battery for about 6 months before adapter installation.
Honestly I can’t remember the last time Ive changed the batteries. Last year I believe. I know it sounds outlandish but I think its been a year.
