Can I connect a 14 in. x 25 ft. Insulated Flexible Duct R4.2 Black Jacket to the fan frame?
No, ducting should not be connected to the Gable Mount Attic Ventilation Fan. Doing so can restrict airflow and impact the unit's performance.
Length of electric cord?
This fan does not come with a power cord; it is designed to be hard-wired according to your local electrical codes. The lead wires provided for the connection are approximately 5 inches long.
I have a 12 inch octagon vent on my gable I wanted to install an attic fan to help pull some of the heat out of my attic would this fan work or would I need something else I have soffits on the house and I have roof vents I just need to help remove some o
It is not recommended to use power attic fans in conjunction with other exhaust methods, such as roof vents, as this can cause the fan to pull hot air back into the attic. Also, the gable vent or louver should be at least the same size as the fan to allow for proper airflow. Will this work installed behind a vinyl gable end vent ? Or do you have to use a louvered vent ?
If using a Fixed gable louver, it must mounted per the installation instructions and be large enough as to not block the intended airflow.
What kind of protection does the motor have?
Master Flow motors are equipped with internal thermal protection, which is set at 170°F.
My current fan motor recently died so I was looking to replace just the motor/blade assembly. But the current one appears to be 15" blade diameter and a 17" internal drum/housing. Will this work for what I am looking for? If not, suggested model numbers?

How wide is the blade? The rough open says 15" but how wide is the blade. My old fan blade is 14".
