The Wagner Large Spray Shelter is a tent-like structure that provides a large, safe area to spray paint or stain while protecting your surrounding area from overspray drift. It's great for use when spraying with Wagner airless and HVLP paint sprayers or aerosol cans. The paint spray booth is 9' W x 6' D x 5.5' H, which is a great size for spraying dressers, dining sets, doors and other large furniture pieces. The spray tent features an integrated floor to keep your ground protected from messes, whether you're in your garage or on the grass. It also has a screen door that can be rolled down to protect your projects from bugs, grass or debris while drying.

The large Spray Shelter does not have that ability, it only comes with the small Spray Shelter - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Wagner-Small-Spray-Shelter-C900051-M/300117291
Yes, it can be used over and over. We suggest using an air compressor to blow off any loose, residue sprayed material on the inside of the tent. It will only become unusable when too much paint is stuck to the inside.
Our Spray Shelters are not weatherproof. We agree with your wife.
We don't intend for it to stand up to a rainstorm, but if you want to hose it off and wipe it down with a wet rag, that shouldn't be an issue. Call us with more questions at 1-800-328-8251.
We're sorry to hear about the mis-shipped product. If you need help beyond the store please contact us at the factory at 1-800-328-8251.
I would not recommend because it lets light through and sure it would b very hot.
This is not a beach tent and will not stand up to strong winds.
We're sorry about that misrepresentation, it does not have a floor. It's necessary to place a drop cloth below the shelter for floor protection. We're getting that fixed on the web page. Thanks.
This does not have a floor. It is connected by web straps to maintain shape only. However in my opinion it is better to provide your own sheeting so it can be replaced as needed. In the bottom left side of the picture, you can see fabric (slightly bunched), this is a 6-8” flap to keep overspray contained. These flaps are on three sides with the front open. I place a painters cloth on floor, pull out flaps and place a section of 2x4 on top of the flap to eliminate spray on my floor. As for the product...its great! Lots of room for spraying multiple pieces and easy to access them for turning! Once again, great product.
Per the picture and specifications it's supposed to, but apparently does not. I believe the floor feature allows for a drop cloth (say for potentially messier jobs) or not as you prefer.... Per Wagner Spray Tech, this has been wrong since May??
This model has no floor, which I believe is a plus. Most of the wet overspray settles on the floor, so covering the floor with a disposable plastic sheet drop cloth is better than getting wet paint on the shelter, in my view.
We set ours up in the garage during cold weather to spray finish on some small chairs we made. Worked great! Takes care of the overspray. I would do the sanding outside. It's amazing how much sawdust floats through an inside space. You could blow it off and go over it with a tack cloth. Then bring it inside the garage to paint.
Yes, the tent can be used both indoors and outside. The tent has a fairly large footprint, use indoors will require that most all items in the room be removed for ease of access. While the footprint is large, the height of the tent can be accommodated in most all standard height rooms. You will need to consider a source for ventilation within the indoor room. Consider using an exhaust fan with an air filter directed at an open window. I have primarily used the tent in my garage. Use of the tent outside will require that you secure the tent to the ground using tent stakes.
Yes, this tent can be set up inside.
Spray Shelter can be set up inside. Good luck on your project.
Yes it can be set up inside physically, But I have to question why. This is a spray shelter meant protect to spray projects from outside contaminants getting on the paint when painting outdoors. Spraying paint emits atomized paint vapor into the air. The vapor is dangerous to your health and the vapor is the reason you're spraying outside. Spraying indoors requires very expensive ventilation systems that are very large in size. These tents are an alternative for the home DIY type person.
If you are asking if its possible, yes it is. There was zero overspray while spraying but there are the inevitable footprints from walking around and changing pieces to be sprayed. As for odor....I used mine in the garage with the door open for ventilation, (tried on the driveway first but the breeze was an issue). This is great for using the paint sprayer!
We had it set up in our garage and sometimes outside. I wouldn’t do it inside.
Yes. Easy. Look carefully at drawing.
The tent can be set up inside assuming you have enough floor space. I've done this in a 2-bay garage. Unless you don't care about your floor you should place it on a drop cloth or tarp that's larger than the tent because overspray can blow out under the edges. Also, you should not sand anything inside the tent. The whole point is to avoid contamination when you spray. Sanding dust will inevitably cling to the inside of the tent and will be dislodged by the slightest bump, air movement from spraying, etc.
