The shear part will not stay all the way up without the black out section with it. Is this correct

This blind comes with a location/mount for two handles but the blind only came with one. You need two to operate the blind properly. When I took the blind back to HD they said they couldn’t help me. I need a handle These are all unique to Day night blds

I'm thinking of purchasing the 72 in. length. Can someone tell me how deep the stack is when it is fully open. Trying to determine valance height to cover.
I think this product is exactly what we have in one of our rooms (although ours measures more like 75" long, so not totally sure). The stack on ours when fully open is a mere 5.5" from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottom rail.

Any way to mount using side mounts? I only have the ability to screw mounts in from each side, nothing in the middle as my window is arched and there is no way to screw any mount in the middle.
