We suggest you contact the manufacturer's warranty Call Center at 1-877-580-5682 or at customerservice@lotausa.com so that they can do some troubleshooting with you as well as provide any parts you may need, free of charge, under the faucet's Limited Lifetime Warranty. They are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM EST.

Yes it will, the company's response confused me but I went ahead and ordered anyways. As you can see in my photo, the cap is threaded and screws on. The inner black piece is a snap on which is what I think the company thought you were referring to.
