How do you apply the edge to the wall and under the tile? I saw a video of a guy who had the tiles set and said to "slide" the edge in. Wouldn't the thin set be in the way of just sliding it in behind the tile?
Aluminum tile trims are designed to be installed with the tile. Typically, you would set the trim into the thin set, letting the thin set squeeze through the openings on the anchor leg. Then use a trowel to smooth over thin set, totally encasing the anchor leg in thin set. The tile should be placed in the thin set and snug up against the edge of the tile.
Can this be used between carpet and tile transition?
Yes this reducer can be used as a transition piece between carpet and 12.5mm thickness tile. Please refer to installation videos on the Home Depot product page online in the image/ video carousel.
I just picked up some satin gold trim master at my local HD but they didn’t have the bull nose connector in satin gold. I need it for a window in a shower. Do I need inside or outside corners? And item number I can’t find it anywhere online. Thanks

How do cut them
For the cleanest cut, it is recommended to cut the aluminum on a miter saw, specifically using a carbide-tipped blade designed for non-ferrous metal. A high tooth count blade is crucial for making clean, burr-free cuts on aluminum metal, since it is a softer metal. Please reference TrimMaster install video within the product listing page.
Can this trim be bendable for a gardenbed?
Yes, this product can be adjusted to use as a radius. TrimMaster L-Shape products can be used to follow curved edges for floor or wall transitions. It is important to use metal snips and clip out the outer edge of the circle/holes on the anchor leg to facilitate a gradual bend without creasing the profile edge. The L-Shape trim can handle most standard architectural curves however it will not work with small or tight radius situation without causing a bend or kink in the main profile. It cannot be bent into a form a 90 or 45 degree bend. Consider using a miter cut for those applications or simply use a butt joint.
