23/32 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft Cabinet Grade Plywood Panel (Actual: 0.688 in. x 48 in. x 96 in.)

This plywood is fair. The layers do not delaminate like other grades, but it isn't much better than BC. The good side is sanded to a good level, but it has some imperfections that are not properly filled. The other side is a bit rough, but it is what it is. I bought 4 sheets to build a pantry that I am painting. I would buy it again.

Cabinet grade plywood? This isnt even good enough to be used for garage cabinets. Why do companies find it necessary to Mislabel and worse than that just blatantly lie about a product.

I ordered 4 of these cabinet grade 3/4” plywood 4’ x 8’ sheets for curbside pickup. All 4 have raised marks on them. This is on the A-side of the board. I guess i learned my lesson, go pick the boards out yogrself.

This plywood is nice, but expect to have to use wood filler for some spots. For the price it is not bad. Just a liitle more work involved depending on what you are using it for.

was making some shop shelves and after a pass thru my table saw,the "keep" and the waste piece completely delaminated. hoping it was just a bad spot, I finished cutting the 4x8 sheet. over 75% was unusable.

It can be really nice looking or it can be just so so. If the first two or three on a pallet are so so, I will go to another Home Depot and grab it there. You will be very lucky indeed if you manage to find any really nice looking sheets in such a pallet. It can have minor voids, but not that bad usually. The top veneer is extremely thin and will not tolerate much sanding. I find that it takes polyurethane finish well. I put a super thin first coat down and then very gently hand sand it using 320 grit on a rubber sanding block. Then build up three or four coats and have never had a problem with a natural color finish. With stain you get out of it what you put into it. Slop it on and it looks like it was slopped on, treat it first and let it thoroughly cure before putting polyurethane on top of and i find it takes stain well. I have not had a lot of warping issues using it. It isn’t a $110 sheet of honest to God cabinet grade plywood and you are kidding yourself if you think it is. But, for what it is it’s fine. I make garage cabinets from it and things like DVD shelving, basically very nice utility grade cabinets and shelving. I like them just fine and get a lot of compliments on them. I don’t band the edge often and just finish sand and finish them, I usually can get away with putting a couple dabs of wood filler per 8-10 feet of edge. A lot of people mention voids, but I have not had that experience with it. It is damp in western Washington and I don’t take any great pains storing it and have not seen any warping I was not 100% responsible for. My understanding is that this is an”unbranded” product and there are a number of suppliers they source it from, some better than others. So let that temper your trust in going by my experience with it. As for the delamination others have experienced, that occurs when the production line shuts down then restarts. The manufacturer should reject any product wherein that occurs. Like I said above: my understanding is that they source it from multiple manufacturers and I suppose some are not as good as others about rejecting product that happens on.

This is an update of my review of Oct. 28, 2020. I was sawing out a notch in a piece to fit over a 2x4, and when the offcut fell on the floor, it had delaminated. You can see glue on both pieces, so that's not the problem. I built the shelves and workbench top in the photos out of the stuff and it worked so far, I guess. The workbench top is two pieces, glued together with screws from below on 6 inch centers, and also pocket hole screwed to the 2x4 frame. It's flat despite the warping of the plywood. The piece on the wall I plan on using for a tool board. This is an occasional use bench at my mother's house, so I'm not moving the 1960's central vac above the bench. I still have an extra sheet of this stuff, and would use it for small shelves on shelf brackets and other light duty utility projects. Anything else, go for something better. Depending on where you shop, real cabinet-grade hardwood plywood is about $100 a sheet without discounts. Russian birch about $70-80. The best at Home Depot seems to be the Purebond at $60. Here price = value. Russian birch is very strong and stable but the finish side usually has knife checks in the grain or very small knots.

Plywood was decent....... better than at another big box store. Minimal voids, decent but not perfect quality. I would be hesitant to make the cabinets shown in the picture out of it. The back side wasn't the greatest. Overall a good product at a PREMIUM price.

Not satisfied with glue adhesiveness. Had to reglue many parts of my project. Separation occurred after ripping it on my table saw. Not a result niether of us was looking for. Just bought new blade for this project and it obviously didnt help. Love your product for the most part but I got two lemon sheets in the past few months. Is there anything you can do. Thank you
