It is what it is.
It worked as specified. Looks like they haven't sold a lot of these recently....the plasti-foam between the pieces glued them all together. I actually used a plastic spatula and a lot of effort to get them apart. Screws came with it, but zinc-coated (not SS or galvanized for outdoor application). overall, it's half a metal box for a lot of money, but i bit the bullet and bought it b/c I couldn't make anything better myself and it does make the pit look better in the end.
haven't used it to see how durable it will be in the long term...we'll find out in a few years if it still holds up. working on a table-cover for the pit when it isn't in use / need a table top so hopefully that will help make it last longer.
FYI - I picked up (2) 3' foot steel angle brackets at the store for about $5 each and will be using the grates from my old grills in order to cook on top of the pit.

It looks great, very easy to install. But we installed the bolts in the opposite direction than the instructions stated so that the heads are in the inside facing out. Much better look. Now the jagged ends are out of sight.

The foam between the metal sheets was completely fused to...
The foam between the metal sheets was completely fused to the metalSheets. I could not remove it or even scrape it off. Had to melt the foam off over an open fire.
