Q:Is this lath iron? I need something that would be attached to a strong commercial magnet for dragging to magnetically pick up nails, screws off of roadway. Stainless doesn?t have the magnetic quality I need.

This was bought to keep the rats out of my yard and it works. I don’t know what it’s supposed to be used for but rats cannot get through this stuff. The mesh lathing was recommended by my handyman. It bends easily which makes putting it in corners super simple. Problem solved.

Not exactly what they intended, but works great!
I used this lath for garden fencing around some raised beds in my backyard to keep the bunnies out of my peas and beans. My husband used some extra deck balusters we had laying around to drive into the dirt and then we secured the lath with lath screws to the balusters. He used a sheet metal brake to bend the lath for corners and trimmed the end pieces with big scissors he uses for sheet metal & the like. So far so good - the bunnies havent eaten our plants and the fence holds up well (we used it for the strawberry patch last year, still looks great this year!).
