Like all ARAUCO panels, Trupan MDF manufactured responsibly from wood fiber that is sourced as recycled, recovered, and/or FSC certified (FSC-C019364).

Q:Can this be used as a spoilboard on a CNC with a vacuum pump

A:  Sure. MDF is a great spoilboard. Will not dull blades or split. If you use it be sure to wear a mask because dust is nasty and will cause issues in your nose. Because it a mixture of wood and glue the vaccum will really hold it in place. If you drill holes in it the vaccuum will transfer to your finish material as long as it is flat on the spoilboard side.       A:  MDF Trupan board can be used on the interior or exterior as long as its not in direct contact with the ground. This material is ready to paint and easy to install. You may find additional information on installation of this material on the Home Depot website under this product.

          Very flat, no warps or damage to edges. Easy to cut and glues well. Great for projects that will be indoors and painted. I used the 3/4 board for the tops of my miter saw bench, 1/2" for the bottom shelves.

            Not you're Grandfather's MDF
            This MDF is water resistant and easy to machine. Makes a great base for cabinets and other fixtures for the garage. The only caveat is to cover exposed edges with a hardwood, to avoid damage. Been using this Trupan MDF (mfr Arauco) for several decades. Great to see Home Depot carries it.
