I need 9" for my connection to my faucet 1/2" to 3/8". Does BrassCraft come in 9"? Can I use a toilet hose of 9"? I worry that a longer hose will put too much pressure on the water line from the wall.
Asked by: Mc
Yes and it should not hurt the pressure on inner walls

Customer Reviews

3/8 in. Compression x 1/2 in. FIP x 20 in. Braided Polymer Faucet Connector is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 710.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from 8 out of 26 supply lines leaked over time I purchased 26 of these supply lines in various lengths at Home Depot when we built our new house, thinking they were a premium product. I had 3 of them leak within 24 hours of installing, and took them back for replacements. I had another one leak after 3 months in an upstairs bathroom which we discovered when the laundry room ceiling started dripping. I replaced that one. We agonized over whether to change out the whole house, but after checking 26 of them regularly for a couple months and having no further leaks, decided it was just a few bad apples. Now, a year after the initial installation, we discovered water damage on our dining room ceiling from another upstairs sink, and when checking the whole house again, I found 4 more with slow drips. All 8 leakers failed at the crimp joint between the braided steel hose and upper fitting. At this point, I'm changing out the whole house to the simple grey plastic supply lines. So much for a premium product!

This faucet connection hose worked great together with the new quarter turn valves I installed to replace old leaky hardware. It was easy to install and the cone-shaped seal is a much better design than the old one. I will be purchasing more soon to upgrade the rest of the connections throughout the house.

These Brass Craft braided faucet supply lines connect easily/reliably and don't require Teflon tape or sealant on the threads. I do wish that the labeling specifically refers to them as being safe for drinking water consumption, although that of course is their intended purpose.

Would be easier to use if the hex flats were really standard. As I put in several of these I often have to use different wrenches as there may be a few thousandths of an inch different and some wrenches just will not work.

Installed a new bathroom vanity faucet that did not come with supply lines. These braided supply lines work great, fit perfectly and were easy to install with an adjustable wrench. I would buy these again without hesitation.
