Roof-mounted evaporative coolers use Cooler Leg Kits for support and stability. The kit includes 2 long legs (30 in.) and 2 short legs (20 in.). Because the legs are adjustable, you can use them to install a cooler on a flat roof or a roof with up to a 6/12 pitch.

This leg kit can be used for side discharge coolers that have square corners. For coolers with rounded corners, use kit #7805.
Dial cooler leg kits are recommended for residential coolers, which typically weigh no more than 300, installed, with wetted pads. It sounds like your cooler may be an industrial size and weight, therefore, we cannot recommend our leg kits.
That question should be answered by a roofer or possibly a cooler installation company.
Choose a screw that fits the hole in the bracket & put clear silicone under the bracket & top the screws with silicone.
Use 3/16" inch self tapping screws.
7112 Specifies that it should be supported in the middle as well (between the wet section and the blower section). You can use this for the corners, and you may have enough off-cut from the long legs if it's a flat roof to use for the middle support. You'll need make-shift feet for the middle supports or you'll need to buy two kits.
I bought two leg kits to support my ultracool/mastercool ad7112 system. It is a very heavy unit. I am also running cross bracing between the rear, middle and front brackets to stop any sway. This unit is so heavy I am concerned about 80+mph winds damaging the supports. Going to end up overkilling the roof mounting for peace of mind, even on a 3/12 pitch. After installing a downdraft I now see why the window style evaporative coolers are so much more desirable and less expensive to install. I think I had around $200 accessories to install this unit on the roof. Had to use a 20' manlift strapped to the unit below to get it on the roof.
As long as it has square corners.
I purchased 3 leg kits and doubled each leg using nuts, bolts and washers. My ADA71 has a double leg on each corner and a double leg on each side of the mid section. That cooler isn't going anywhere!
