Questions & Answers

Why dont the holes go through the entire post?

The pic looks as if the post holes don't go through the hole post. Is this accurate? Unless it's an end or corner post, should the holes be rather large and go the entire way through?
Asked by: apoc3
you might be looking at a corner post rather than a line post. The holes go through a line post.

These were longer than post being replaced. You can either dig hole deeper and use 2 bags of concrete or trim off to existing hole depth. Otherwise worked perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Post If this is the type of fence you have, then you need this type of post. Easy to install and looks great. I had to replace one that split. Do NOT pour cement in the hole when setting these. These will rot in a few years and if you set them in cement it will be impossible to remove. Dig your hole and add 6 inches of gravel for drainage and then back fill. It's a piece of cake.
