Questions & Answers
what are the exact dimensions of this product - i need to know the size of the side walls including us shape brackets and the true door size - not the opening but the true door edge to edge.
DreamLine does not publish the exact edge-to-edge dimensions of the glass door panel or the side glass panels (including the U-channels/wall brackets) for the Prism Plus enclosure. If you need the true door panel width and the exact dimensions of the side panels including the U-channels for fabrication or planning purposes, please contact DreamLine Customer Support at 1-866-731-8378. They can provide the detailed engineering drawings or glass dimensions for the SHEN-2640400-01 model.
How thick is the glass?
Hello Shannon, the Prism Plus collection is expertly designed from premium 3/8-inch-thick certified tempered glass, ensuring durable craftsmanship and reliability that exceeds our highest standards. If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine team at 866-282-8413. We can also be reached by sending an email to support@dreamline.com. Our hours of operation are 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine.
In the description is says to purchase base and doors and save. Where is the option and what is the savings?
There are package options for the Prism Plus shower enclosure that would include a shower base and the matching enclosure. Please note that these products are pre-matched for size, so the shower base will be larger than the glass enclosure so that the glass will fit up onto the curbs of the shower base. For example, the 40x40" model size you are looking at would require a 42x42" neo-angle shower base and this option would be sold under model # DL-6063. The pricing will vary depending on the size and the hardware/base color or finish you select. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!
Can this enclosure be installed without a base?
Yes - you can install the Prism Plus on a curb-less shower. Please just note that this model does require you to fasten some of the hardware to your floor with the provided screws, so instead of drilling into a shower curb, you will be drilling into the floor. If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413. We can also be reached by sending an email to support@dreamline.com. Our hours of operation are 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine.
Does it come with the hexagon tile backing shown in the photo? And if not where can I order this?
The tiles shown in the picture are for illustrative purposes only and are only digital images (not actual tiles). These images are sourced by our graphics and creative teams to show what our glass products could look like in different bathroom settings. We recommend that you contact your local Home Depot store and see if someone from their store can help you source similar tile. What are the dimensions of the L brackets? Specifically the wall side of the L. Thanks
The L-Bar support is 6" x 18" with the 6" side as the side that fastens to your finished wall.
Do the hexagonal tile side walls come with it? Or is it just the glass sides, door, and base?
This listing is just for the Prism Plus shower door. The tiles and base are not included in this listing.
