Is there an easy way to level this fan? Entire assembly seems to be unbalanced. It’s in the home I’m renting and is unusable based on how unstable it is!
Thank you for your question. You can use a level to see if possibly the ceiling is slanted. If the ceiling is slanted you will need a slope adapter kit.
Do I have to use the down rod?

the light turns on hours after the fan and we don’t know how to fix this ! It wakes my kids up!
We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. The remote receiver may be receiving an interfering signal from another device in the area. This can be resolved by changing the dip switch settings in the remote and receiver. This will change the frequency of the remote to avoid the interfering signal. The dip switches are located in the battery compartment of the remote and on the receiver. The dip switches can be set to any unique setting of up or down as long as the settings in the remote and receiver match. If that does not resolve the issue, please call Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460 and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshot and resolve the issue.
Can I split the fan and light into two different wall switches? I am okay to loose the light function from the remote. I just want remote to control the fan and light directly from the wall switch.
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can bypass the receiver and hardwire the fan. You will need to splice the wires from the plastic connector coming from the motor housing. The black wire is for the fan motor and the blue wire is for the light.
Can the fixture be wired to two separate wall switches, one for the light and one for the fan, or is the fan only controlled through the remote?
