Questions & Answers
Does this shower kit come with a warranty and are the walls quality
Yes, this DreamLine Prime shower kit does come with a warranty. DreamLine typically offers a limited lifetime warranty on the glass component and a limited 1-year warranty on parts and hardware, which helps provide peace of mind for long-term use. As for quality, the walls (and overall kit) are considered solid and reliable for everyday use. The kit includes tempered glass panels and a durable acrylic shower base, both designed to resist cracking, chipping, and normal wear over time. While this is not a high-end frameless system, it’s a well-built, practical option that offers good performance and value for a corner shower setup.
is the 74.75 measurement from floor or top of shower base?
Yes, the 74.75" is the total height. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!
We have a plumbing issue and have to remove the base kit to get to the pipes below. Do you offer just the Base Kit?
Please have your Home Depot representative contact DreamLine Customer Support regarding a replacement base. The base is only sold as part of the Prime kit, so this will have to be a special order. DreamLine's Customer Support Team can be reached by phone at 866-731-8378 or by email at support@dreamline.com. We are available M-F from 8am-6pm EST. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!
Where do you purchase the walls for this shower?
Please have your Home Depot representative call in regarding purchase of the acrylic panels. DreamLine's Customer Support Team can be reached by phone at 866-731-8378 or by email at support@dreamline.com. We are available M-F from 8am-6pm EST. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!
do I have to use the base for these doors? Or can I just place on a slab?
Installing shower doors and enclosures to finished, tiled floors is a very popular trend right now. You will want to make sure that you caulk any grout lines well. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866-282-8413. We are available 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to help you choose the perfect shower door for your space. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com. Thank you for considering DreamLine!
how can the drain hope position fit with the original tub drain hole position?
Drain positions vary from house to house. DreamLine places our drain positions in the most commonly found location for remodels. You will need to measure your drain location from the studs and compare it with the technical drawing of this shower base. In this case, the center of the drain is 12" by 12" from the studs. If you have any other questions, please contact the DreamLine Customer Support Team at 866.731.2244. We are available 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm EST and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com. Thank you for considering DreamLine!
does this shower enclosure come with a back wall ?
The Prime is available as a kit with DreamLine's Acrylic walls and a white base and the model number for that is DL-6152-01CL. Unfortunately, it is not available as a kit with the Biscuit base at this time.
