You can't.
When I bought mine for $189 last year it had everything including the attachment, I didn't know there was an option to buy without the attachment, to be honest. Have you reached out to Ryobi to see if they sell the attachment separately?
Don't buy it. Mine didn't last 2 full pool cleanings. the switch quit working. Sometimes it would just turn on and run by itself, Sometimes it wouldn't start at all... Do yourself a favor and walk away.
I bought two because the first one broke. The second stopped working just like the first. I then called company. They said there was an issue with the switch and it was malfunctioning. They probably stopped making them to work out the issue. Then they will put back on the market. Just wait or buy something else.
I would hope so seeing how it is poor quality and I have never said that about a Ryobi product before.
Hi Ben - parts for this product are available online. I searched for Ryobi P3500 (the model number) and found a couple of outlets with parts and specifically the battery compartment seal - part # HM-019753001003. Hope this helps.
I purchased mine online.
I bought it at Homedepot.com

It's not clear what you are asking.
Yes it is safe for liners per instructions.
Yes I use it on my unground pool which has a liner
Yes. I use mine on an in-ground pool with a liner.
Yes. The one I had did not have enough suction to hurt anything.
No because the pool vac only works on pool with a smooth even bottom, ponds do not have a smooth even botton. Mike
It would work as far as the size. The air vents have to be covered with water for it to work. You may have to tilt it substantially to cover the vents. The suction on this product was terrible in my experience, and as with many other customers the on/off switch failed quickly.
If the pond is a "Water" pond...why not.
I don't think so being it needs to be fully submerged in order to work and it's almost 2 foot long. If you can keep it submerged by angling it, it may work.
