The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL SWITCH PACK Sectional Drum System 1/2" Kit is the first drain cleaning solution that combines the benefits of sectional and drum machines, creating the single most versatile and mobile machine on the market. The SWITCH PACK System utilizes a modular design with backpack straps allowing users to easily transport it to any roof, drain, crawl space or cleanout. The tool-free drum connection enables users to quickly switch between cable sizes or add a second drum, allowing them to reach 100' down the line. All SWITCH PACK drain cleaning drums are fully enclosed providing users with the best protection against job site mess. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor provides users with more clearing power than corded units for tough jobs in up to 4" drain lines. Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence improves user control, slowing the machine up to 5X faster than competitor drums. Milwaukee's M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack powers through multiple jobs on a single charge, providing cordless mobility, safety, and power supply to the drain cleaning industry. The 1/2" cable is best for use on 3" - 4" drain lines. Other cable sizes also available. The SWITCH PACK is also compatible with the CABLE DRIVE Assembly (47-53-2774) that allows users to automatically feed and retract cable up to 15-20 feet per minute. The CABLE DRIVE assembly quickly attaches to and swaps between any Milwaukee SWITCH PACK Drum with the Mounting Plate (47-53-2773) installed.

Hi, Alec. The M18 FUEL Drain Cleaning Sewer Sectional Machine Kit is designed to work with both 7/8" and 1-1/4" cables. However, when it comes to navigating through floor drains and P-traps, the 5/8" cable is generally more flexible and better suited for tight bends compared to the 7/8" cable.

Hey Andy! To change auger attachments on your Milwaukee M18 Fuel 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Drain Cleaning 5/16 in. Switch Pack Sectional Drum System Kit, follow these steps: Ensure Safety: Make sure the tool is turned off and disconnected from the power source to prevent accidental activation. Remove the Cable from the Drum: Release the drum brake to stop the drum from spinning. Pull the cable out of the drum manually or use the CABLE DRIVE™ Assembly if attached. Detach the Current Auger Attachment: Locate the coupling on the end of the cable where the auger attachment is connected. Use the appropriate tool to loosen the coupling (usually a wrench or pliers). Remove the current auger attachment from the coupling. Attach the New Auger Attachment: Select the desired auger attachment from your kit. Align the new auger attachment with the coupling on the cable. Tighten the coupling securely using a wrench or pliers to ensure the auger attachment is firmly connected. Reinsert the Cable into the Drum: Feed the cable back into the drum manually or use the CABLE DRIVE™ Assembly if attached. Ensure the cable is properly seated in the drum and the drum brake is engaged. Test the Attachment: Reconnect the tool to the power source. Turn on the tool and test the new auger attachment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
