Great reliable engine with serviceable pump.

I purchased this pressure washer specifically because it has a Honda engine. Straight out of the box after all assembly was completed it started First pull. I bought this to replace my old pressure washer that also had a Honda engine and I got 15 years of service from my old one. I believe that I will get that and longer because this unit has a serviceable pump.

Be warned

Used 3 times and it sprung a leak. Engine oil is leaking . Now I must take it to a warranty service center so they can check it out. Can't return it after 90 days.

Horrible customer service

The power washer itself is a nice little machine. It does what it’s supposed to do. The other complaints about it ‘walking’ are true, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. My issue is with DeWalt and their so called customer service. When I assembled the machine the holes for the handle extension are on opposite sides of the base. As it turns out the base frame is actually drilled wrong. I can simply drill new holes to make it work, but why should I drill through fresh powder coat that will cause rust to correct a manufacturing issue? I contacted customer service and ultimately was told I need to take the machine to a repair shop that is 40 miles from my house. That means I have to drive 160 miles in 2 trips to have someone else repair it. I asked them to send me the base frame and a small refund and I would do it myself. I never received a response from them and I have followed up six times so far, I will keep pestering them but as with any corporate company, they just don’t care. DeWalt tools in general have declined significantly, but this machine got good reviews so I went for it. It will be the last DeWalt I ever buy (I’m a contractor and I buy a lot of tools) Ridgid tools have amazing customer service and they handle warranties quickly.

I bought this pressure washer and used for three days, on the second day the soap injector stopped working, not to mention that one of the tires couldn't be inflated due to a defect. They sent me a curved spray wand extension, but when I tried to return the unit to Home Depot, they wouldn't accept it because a week had already passed since the purchase. I called Dewalt to fail a complaint , they sent me a correct tire and wand extension but told me I had to take the machine in to have the injector issue checked. I would have preferred a refund, but that was no longer n option, based on my experience , I would not recommend his product.

It is an overall decent power washer and performs well. However, this thing must be made of primarily plastic parts because while running, it does shake and rattle and move around the deck. (I am guessing because it is so lightweight?)

Not dewalt product

I bought this Dewalt pressure washer 4400 psi. This thing is trash stay away from this model DXPW61377. That model is actually is not a dewalt product this is some company who uses dewalts name and sells it in Home Depot as I was told by local dewalt repair shop. No one was willing to repair on it either. Every one told me to contact Home Depot and ask them for manufacturer all this is not worth it. Buy the original dewalt product is the one with Honda engine in it.

Overall design is TERRIBLE. After the very first use, I left the water on to it overnight. (Next day tried to start it and it wouldnt go). It filled up the crankcase with WATER. When I went to check the oil, water poured out of the dipstick hole. So after several oil changes, it runs again, but I went to take it back to home depot and I was out of the return window by a week. ALSO, super poopy design on the air filter. the cover snaps INSIDE the base, meaning, if you left this thing out in the rain, it would literally flood the engine with water too. JUNK. If I could return it I would.

Beware! I had to remount the engine as the output for the high pressure line to the wand was blocked by the handle. I would have not bothered but I needed to get working.

Lawn Ornament?

Bought May, 18, 2026. First used machine. Vibrated a lot and “walked” counter-clockwise particularly when activating sprayer. Little over a week, used again with same symptoms. Opps…return time was more than seven days later. Contacted DeWalt and they do not service product. Referred me to FNA Group for service. I can return it if I bring the unit to a town 210 miles away. They would dispatch the company to call me in a “few” days. No call back. Called FNA again and got the run around (won’t bore you with details). Finally they referred me to a place 45 miles away. (I live in the third largest metropolitan area in WA. ) I called them. Due to distance they suggested calling my local DeWalt repair shop. My local repair shop does not work on DeWalt pressure washers…they get run around for parts from the company that supplies this product. So I am left with an item that I will just run to the ground and plant in the front yard as an ornament when it dies. I have purchased many DeWalt tools over thirty years. Very disappointed that DeWalt allows a third party to sell this item but lacks good customer support with their warranty. Buyer beware. 06/16/26 UPDATE. I noticed DeWalt responded to my post to contact Hattan regarding my post. He responded. Reiterated I could take the pressure washer to the authorized repair location about 45 miles away. That was it. No local repair shop. Makes this purchase a more expensive venture. Is it worth it going through this hassle for a new purchase?
