Can this work with an older R115 valve if I keep the existing valve? I really just need an updated plate since it's so worn without changing out the plumbing for a different brand. The number on my valve is R115ssbp.

what is the hole diameter (min/max) for the valve body for Chatfield #7413502?

The tub spout is plastic in this kit and has already starting leaking. What valve came with this kit that is now in the wall. do you have any other fixture sets for the tub/shower that use that same valve but have a metal tub spout instead of plastic?

The tub spout used is an IPS connection so you can change out just the tub spout with another IPS version without changing the full trim. We would be happy to help you choose a metal tub spout. Does the Chatfield brushed nickel have a plastic tub spout or metal
